Your Bio
Basics: David born and raised in southern California 1954-1982. Married Cynthia (Columbus-born girl) in 1979 while we were both still in California (we both went to the same college in La Mirada), then we moved to Columbus, Ohio in late 1982. Cats (no kids). Married 28 years. LOVE to hike. I miss California and the mountains, and travel to California to hike, on average, once each year. In a perfect world, we would live in California near the Sierra so we could hike/backpack there all the time!
David's Interests: Severe weather, occasional storm chasing (as time and opportunity allow -- which is to say, almost never), music (piano, organ, choral conducting, singing, etc. -- music degree ('77) from BIOLA), and travel; oh, and did I say HIKING??
Cynthia's Interests: Photography, sewing, SCUBA, skiing, travel.
David's day job: Administrative Assistant to a senior partner and a paralegal at a large law firm in the heart of downtown Columbus, where I overlook the State Capitol building from my view on the 30th floor (no hiking there).
Cynthia's Day Job: R.N. (part time) in the mother-infant unit at one of the large hospitals near downtown Columbus.
We both attend Pataskala Grace Brethren Church, where David is pianist, choir rehearsal accompanist, and backup director, and Cynthia sings in the choir.
